Software Engineer

PayAnalytics is a world-leading pay equity software solution used by employers around the world to ensure the salaries they offer are fair. The solution measures pay gaps, gives concrete suggestions on how to close them, and supports real-time decisions regarding salary changes and new hire salaries so that pay gaps don’t reappear. The solution works for both gender pay gaps (male, female, non-binary) and for pay gaps related to any other demographic groups, such as race, nationality, or age.

When it comes to bringing fairness into all salary decisions, the PayAnalytics team is pushing the envelope, and we are looking for a Software Engineer to join us.

What will you do?

You will work on developing new and existing features in the PayAnalytics equal pay solution. You will work on code in our SPA (Vue.js), REST API (python/Django), Java algorithm implementation and our AWS infrastructure configuration. You will write design docs and unit tests, perform code reviews and participate in all other essential tasks of a healthy development team.

PayAnalytics is a SaaS platform applying state-of-the-art technology that builds on statistical and optimisation algorithms to close demographic pay gaps.

Who are you?

You have a university degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics and are comfortable working with statistics and mathematical concepts. You have three or more years of professional experience in software development or related roles. Experience with technologies such as JavaScript and Python and a solid understanding of the fundamental design concepts of REST APIs are also helpful for this role. Experience with Java or AWS is a plus.
